My travel adventures started back in 2014 when Kim and I went to Scotland. We arrived in London, took a train to Glasgow (via Manchester off course, I had to visit Old Trafford, it was like Pilgrimage for me). We rented a car and started driving up north towards Fort Williams. Throughout our journey, I was in awe of how beautiful the scenery was. We would stop at every turn to take pictures. The towering mountains in the background, the peaceful lakes, beautiful blue skies. This was my very first time going so far away from home and it was truly breathtaking. Then as we drove through Glencoe, I stopped the car by the roadside, stepped out, took Kim's hands and said, this has to be one of the most beautiful places on earth. Nothing can beat Glencoe. Kim then says, wait till you see New Zealand.
Fast forward to 2017, I land the opportunity to travel to New Zealand. It also happened to be my first ever solo trip. I landed in Christchurch, picked up my car and started driving towards Wanaka. The drive was.....
ERMAHHGADDDD!!
Kim was right. New Zealand is unbelievably breathtaking. Snow-capped mountains, glaciers, teal coloured lakes, yes you read it right, teal coloured lakes! Oh also, you can practically see the Milky Way with your naked eyes in Lake Tekapo. How amazing is that?!
As I was reaching Wanaka I told myself, Vinoth, this wedding is going to be so beautiful that it is going to bring tears of joy to some. Make sure your photographs bring out the same emotions and feelings.
Fast forward to their reception, when the wedding slideshow was played, I noticed a tear roll down the groom's dad's face.
